The propagation of a spin-entropy wave in superfluid He-3-A(1) was obs
erved in a cylindrical chamber with the magnetic field applied perpend
icular to the chamber axis. A strong nonlinear response was observed a
s a function of drive amplitude. When the drive is relatively small, t
he resonant response is hysteretic and is dependent on the direction o
f frequency sweep through the resonance. When the drive is increased t
o a sufficiently large value, the response reverts to nearly linear de
pendence.
