Abstract
Transient products, trans-isomers of the merocyanine form of spiro(1,3 ,3-trimethylindolinonaphthoxazine), in acetone were investigated by th e microsecond flash photolysis technique. Two unstable trans-isomers p receding the most stable trans-isomer of merocyanine form were detecte d. Differential spectra and lifetimes of the unstable trans-isomers we re measured.
