Rearing experiments at different temperatures (10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 d
egrees C) were made on Opius dissitus Muesebeck, a parasitoid of Lirio
myza trifolii (Burgess). Temperatures between 20 and 30 degrees C were
optimal for the development of O. dissitus, which was able to adapt t
o relatively high temperatures despite its holarctic origin.
