Abstract
Title compounds 3a-i were obtained from the reaction of 2-chloro-4,5-d ihydroimidazole 1 and suitable N-arylhydroxylamines 2. Crystal and mol ecular structure of the 3-methyl derivative 3b was determined. To gain an understanding of the significance of alpha-hydroxy group in the 2- aryl-iminoimidazolines, compounds 3a-i were studied as potential inhib itors of the blood platelet aggregation induced by adrenaline.
