UO2SO4 extracts obtained from neutral aqueous solutions of this compou
nd and benzene solutions of uranyl bis(2-ethylhexyl) phosphate have be
en studied by P-31 NMR and IR spectroscopy. It has been found that in
the presence of donor-active additions L = TBP or DOSO the recurrent u
nit of the polymer (UO(2)X(2))(p) adds one or two UO2O4 molecules to f
orm (UO(2)X(2).UO2SO4.2L) and (UO(2)X(2).2UO(2)SO(4).6L) units. The st
ructure of these units has been established. If has been shown that th
e distribution of UO2SO4 molecules along the polymer chain is random.
