Abstract
We show that in magnetic metallic superlattices along with the bilinea r RKKY-reminiscent interaction between magnetic superlattices there ca n be an important quadrupole-quadrupole coupling. In an analytical way we derive tile range functions of the quadrupol-quadrupole interactio n and discuss its relation to magnetoresistivity.
