NEW ASSIGNMENTS IN DIEKE T-2 EMISSION-SPECTRUM

The analysis of the optical emission spectra of molecular tritium meas ured and partly analyzed by G. H. Dieke and co-workers has been improv ed and extended. Accurate term values have been determined from their assignments with the aid of robust regression methods, and their assig nments have been extended by applying the assignment procedure describ ed in a previous paper of the authors. All assignments involve B-1 Sig ma(u)(+) or a(3) Sigma(g)(+) as lower electronic state. The assignment s and the resulting B-1 Sigma(u)(+), I-1 Pi(g)(+), H-1 Sigma(g)(+), P- 1 Sigma(g)(+), R(1) Pi(g)(+), a(3) Sigma(g)(+), e(3) Sigma(u)(+), d(3) Pi(u), f(3) Sigma(u)(+), and k(3) Pi(u) term values are summarized an d tabulated in this paper.
