Abstract
Serial radiologic examination can demonstrate the initial development and stability or progression of erosions and cartilage damage during t he course of rheumatoid arthritis. Measurement of the radiographic pro gression fate is potentially the most powerful tool available to the i ndividual practitioner and the clinical investigator. This article exa mines various methods for scoring radiographic abnormalities in rheuma toid arthritis.
