Ae. Nosenko et Vn. Shevchuk, DEFECTS AND FEATURES OF ION-ELECTRON PROCESSES IN GARNETS, Radiation effects and defects in solids, 134(1-4), 1995, pp. 251-255
The results of the electroconductivity investigations, the thermal pol
arization and the depolarization currents of some gallium garnet monoc
rystals are considered. Models of the transport processes realized dur
ing heating from 80 to 1200 K are proposed. Major point defects are ca
tion and anion vacancies and their aggregates in different charge stat
es. The p-type of conductivity is connected with O--type centres.
