Magnetoresistance of a two-dimensional electron gas in a quasiperiodic
lattice (Penrose tiling) of antidots has been studied. Magnetoresista
nce oscillations in a magnetic field were found when the cyclotron dia
meter 2R(L) was equal to the minimal distance between the centers of t
he antidots d(min), and for 2R(L) = 1. 62d(min). In contrast to the pe
riodic lattice, where these oscillations originate from trajectories s
kipping along the array, in a quasiperiodic system commensurability os
cillations of the magnetoresistance were suggested to be due to oscill
ations of the electrons scattered by the antidots.
