Abstract
Community care and sectorisation, specialisation and differentiation, integration of psychiatric and other medical services, crises interven tion and emergency psychiatry - and patient's choice - are basic issue s of the organisation of psychiatric services. They are discussed and evaluated in respect of the Region of Mannheim and the Mannheim Zentra linstitut fur Seelische Gesundheit.
