By means of the Blevin-Hasan version of the Bradbury-Nielsen technique
and Townsend-Huxley method, the drift velocity W, characteristic ener
gy D/mu and the D-L/mu parameter have been determined at ambient tempe
rature for reduced electric fields 300 less than or equal to E/N less
than or equal to 500 Td, 30 less than or equal to E/N less than or equ
al to 1000 Td and 250 less than or equal to E/N less than or equal to
1000 Td, respectively. The present results have been compared with exp
erimental and theoretical ones of other investigators.
