Abstract
The electrical behaviour of some hydrazones was studied in the tempera ture range of 290-435 K. The effect of complex formation with Mn(II), Fe(II), Co(IT), Ni(II), and Cu(II) on the electrical conductivity of t he hydrazones was investigated. The structure of the hydrazones was ch aracterized using H-1 and C-13 NMR spectroscopy. Conductometric titrat ion and IR spectroscopy were used to illustrate the structure of the h ydrazone complexes. Both the structures of the hydrazones and the comp lexation process play an effective role in the conduction process.
