Abstract
Pattern density of development wells in heterogeneous, terrigenous str
ata has been found to greatly impact oil recovery. Applied to terrigen
ous Devonian reservoirs in western Bashkortostan, 15 - 20 hectare/well
pattern will be the most appropriate. Among other factors assessed ar
e those impacting the development performance for fields with various
geology and physical properties.
