Abstract
The two exchange-correlation potentials that derive from a variation o
f the exchange-correlation energy for full and averaged electron-elect
ron coupling strengths, respectively, are shown to be identical, which
invalidates the conclusions of M Biagini presented in the preceding c
omment.
