Abstract
Steroid ketoximes were reduced with sodium tetrahydroborate in the pre sence of nickel chloride or molybdenum trioxide. These processes yield ed 17 alpha- and 20 alpha- aminosteroids (1c-5c) in higher yields than common reduction methods.
