Abstract
The spectrum of Fe VI has been observed in the 135-250 Angstrom region on a 3 m grazing incidence spectrograph. More than 400 lines have bee n classified as 3d(3)-3d(2)(4f + 5f + 6f) + 3p(5)3d(4) transitions. Th is allowed us to establish 169 new levels, including 43 and 32 levels belonging to the overlapping and strongly interacting 3d(2)4f and 3p(5 )3d(4) configurations. Seventy-three out of 81 levels of the 3d(2)5f c onfiguration have been found. Parameters obtained from the least-squar es-fitting calculations are presented and compared with the Hartree-Fo ck values.
