Abstract
X-ray spectroscopic methods were used to investigate the spatial distr ibution of Z-pinch plasma parameters. Experiments were carried out on the GAEL pulse line generator in Ecole Polytechnique (France) with dif ferent types of load. Obtained results for the concentration of electr ons and plasma temperature showed that higher plasma homogeneity was o btained in experiments with complex load. Spectrograms demonstrate the stabilization effect of the Al-jet.
