Abstract
In well selected cases, in which preoperative investigations allow us to plan a tracheal resection-anastomosis, surgery is the best current treatment also for secondary tumours involving the trachea. We report a case of a patient suffering from severe dyspnoea for tracheal stenos is due to recurrence of an epidermoid cancer of the tongue. Surgical t reatment allowed us to obtain very good palliation.
