Abstract
We describe a unique association of histiocytic necrotizing lymphadeni tis (Kikuchi's disease) and chronic lymphocytic (Hashimoto's) thyroidi tis in a patient who presented with significant cervical lymphadenopat hy and a goiter, This case illustrates the value of lymph node biopsy combined with the fine needle aspiration of the thyroid in determining the nature of the relationship between the goiter and lymphadenopathy .
