Abstract
The chalky phosphatic internal mould of the right valve of an adult ra diolitid Durania blayaci (Toucas, 1909) (Middle Cenomanian, Craie de R ouen Fm, Le Havre, Seine-Maritime, France) contains ca 60 juveniles, 1 to 4 mm long, all oriented with the right valve towards the adult she ll. The right valve of these juveniles is coiled and there is a monopl eurid or caprotinid-like hinge. Three scenarios are discussed: canniba lism, fixation of larvae on the adult shell and incubation.
