Abstract
1,3-Diselenanes are efficiently metallated by LDA or better by KDA. On conformationnally rigid derivatives, metallation is more efficient on equatorial hydrogen and leads to 2-metallo-diselenanes bearing the me tal in equatorial position. Copyright (C) 1996 Elsevier Science Ltd
