J. Darnell et Hp. Stern, USING COMPUTER-SIMULATION AS A BRIDGE BETWEEN THE CLASSROOM AND LABORATORY, International Journal of Electrical Engineering Education, 33(1), 1996, pp. 18-26
This paper discusses the use of computer simulation as a bridge to cre
ate a smooth transition between classroom material and laboratory exer
cises in combined lecture-lab courses. Such bridging increases student
s' capability to validate laboratory results, resolve problems, and co
rrelate classroom and laboratory materials. Results of student surveys
are given.
