Abstract
Sulfuryl chloride isocyanate was used in a mild, one pot conversion of methyl 2-oxo-1-pyrrolidinealkanoic acid esters 5-7 to their correspon ding 2-imino-1-pyrrolidinealkanoic acids 2-4.
