Abstract
As a part of a research project on anti-protozoan agents, various nove l oxime ether derivatives were prepared in good yields from 2-thiophen ecarboxaldehyde or 5-nitro-2-thiophene-carboxaldehyde. These compounds were evaluated as potential anti-protozoan compounds and some derivat ives were found to be more active than the reference drugs.
