Abstract
Sotheby's sells science: At a March 16 auction of scientific memorabil ia by Sotheby's, a 1912 handwritten manuscript by Albert Einstein did not attract any bidders above the minimum price, while artifacts from the Soviet space program sold for far below the figures obtained in a 1993 auction.
