Abstract
[Sn4(C4H4O4)2(C3H7NO)2(C6H5)12], M(r) = 1778.38, triclinic, P1BAR, a = 12.1759 (7), b = 12.8661 (9), c = 14.3293 (9) angstrom, alpha = 79.04 1 (5), beta = 71.665 (5), gamma = 69.467 (5)degrees, V = 1987.4 (2) an gstrom3, Z = 1, D(x) = 1.486 g cm-3, lambda(Mo Kalpha) = 0.71073 angst rom, mu = 13.03 cm-1, F(000) = 892, T = 298 K, R = 0.026 for 5135 refl ections. The carbonyl O atoms of the centrosymmetric bis(triphenyltin) succinate.2DMF [Sn-O = 2.145 (3), Sn <-- O(DMF) = 2.404 (3) angstrom] molecule are linked datively to the Sn atoms [Sn-O = 2.444 (2) angstr om] of two centrosymmetric bis(triphenyltin) succinate [Sn-O = 2.112 ( 3) angstrom] molecules to form a three-dimensional network. The coordi nation environment at each of the Sn atoms is a trans-trigonal bipyram id.
