Abstract
A linear-iteration method for reconstructing interaction potentials fr om scattering data, which was earlier proposed for real potentials, is extended to general complex potentials. This method is also used to r econstruct interaction potentials from differential cross sections and polarization observables. The method is tested by reconstructing mode l potentials, as well as potentials describing nuclear ((DHe)-He-4 and p(9)Be) scattering and atomic (e(-)He) scattering.
