Abstract
The direct cluster photodisintegration of the O-16 nucleus through the (HeC)-He-4-C-12 channel and the corresponding radiative capture are c onsidered in potential two-cluster models. Intercluster interactions i nvolving forbidden states and reproducing the phase shifts of elastic scattering and the properties of bound states are used. The astrophysi cal S factors are calculated at low energies. The proposed model is sh own to describe the total cross sections for photonuclear processes.
