Abstract
The pseudoclassical Hamiltonian and action of a D = 2n Dirac particle having an anomalous magnetic moment and interacting with an external Y ang-Mills held are found. The Bargmann-Michel-Telegdi equation of moti on for the Pauli-Lubanski vector is deduced. The canonical quantizatio n of a D = 2n Dirac spinning particle with anomalous magnetic moment i n an external Yang-Mills field is carried out in the gauge that makes it possible to simultaneously describe particles and antiparticles (ma ssive and massless) even at the classical level. The theory is quantiz ed in terms of canonical (Newton-Wigner) coordinates obtained with the aid of the pseudoclassical Foldy-Wouthuysen transformation.
