Abstract
An electrically conducting Sr-doped lanthanum chromite (LSC) coating h as been produced by reacting a coating of fine particles of La oxide a nd Sr oxide with chromia formed as an external scale on a metallic all oy. In addition to the formation of LSC the coating also resulted in m uch reduced buckling of the underlying chromia layer compared with a n on-coated alloy.
