Abstract
A cantilever force cell as a structural element of a machine is descri bed. The force cell measures the maximum load applied to the sensing e lement. Relationships for the output signal as a function of the appli ed load and the number of load cycles were obtained. The load cell ope rates independently and requires neither a power supply nor connecting wires.
