Abstract
A polycrystalline sample of antiferromagnet UCuSn has been studied by neutron diffraction. The data obtained at 90 K (paramagnetic state) in dicate that the crystal structure is hexagonal with an ordered distrib ution of Cu and Sn atoms in the unit cell (P6(3)mc). In the antiferrom agnetic state, the uranium moments with a value of 1.9(1)mu(B) lie in the be plane and form an angle of 25 degrees with the b-axis. The magn etic space group UCuSn is P2'(1)m'c.
