R. Masini et al., MAGNETIC-BEHAVIOR AND TRANSPORT-PROPERTIES OF HG-1201 PREPARED BY VAPOR SOLID REACTION, Applied physics letters, 68(16), 1996, pp. 2282-2284
A vapor-solid reaction performed in a two-temperature zones reactor op
erated at low pressure is demonstrated successfully to prepare Hg-1201
material of good superconducting properties as shown by the temperatu
re dependence of resistivity and ZFC susceptibility. To investigate fu
rther the connectivity of the material, we performed high sensitivity
magnetization measurements at very low magnetic fields and temperature
. A hysteretic behavior is observed due to an intergranular critical s
tate regime. (C) 1996 American Institute of Physics.
