Allylic radicals resulting upon simultaneous photochemical generation
of phosphoryl [P-.(O)(OPri)(2)] and carbon-centered [C-.(O)OMe, (CH3)-
C-., (CCl3)-C-.] radicals in saturated toluene solutions of C-60 have
been studied by the ESR method. The donor-acceptor properties of carbo
n-centered radicals determine the positions of phosphoryl groups in th
e allylic system.
