Abstract
A 15-year-old Japanese girl complained of decreased visual acuity in t he left eye of 1-month duration. Histiocytosis X had been diagnosed wh en she was 2 years old based on examination of biopsies of skin and ce rvical lymph nodes and bone marrow aspirations. She had been in comple te remission for 7 years. She exhibited the characteristic ophthalmosc opic, ultrasonographic, and radiologic features of bilateral choroidal osteomas.
