Abstract
Spinal somatosensory evoked potentials recorded using a 4-channel mont age distinguish between cervical intramedullary and dorsal horn lesion s. Thus, spinal SEPs complete the clinical examination and imaging tec hniques and help to select patients for surgical treatment.
