Abstract
A theory for the effect of impurity scattering on electronic Raman sca ttering in unconventional superconductors is presented. The impurity d ependence of the the spectra present a clear qualitative way to distin guish between conventional (anisotropic s-wave) or unconventional (d-w ave) energy gaps.
