Sk. Sarker, CONFINEMENT IN THE 3-DIMENSIONAL ANISOTROPIC T-J MODEL - A MEAN-FIELDSTUDY, Journal of physics and chemistry of solids, 56(12), 1995, pp. 1753-1754
We consider the anisotropic t-J model with the c-axis parameters t(c)
and J(c) different from their in-plane counterparts, t and J. Within t
he slave-fermion mean-field approximation it is shown that the spiral
state exhibits charge-confinement in the intermediate delta regime. In
the confined state the hopping amplitude <c(i sigma)(dagger)c(j sigma
) > = 0 along the c direction so that c-axis resitivity is infinite at
T = 0.
