Abstract
The authors describe a case of subcutis cysticercosis due to Cysticerc us longicollis, larvae of Taenia crassiceps in a 15 years old castrate d dog. The macroscopical lesion looks like an abscess on the lateral f ace of left knee. The abscess contains a yellowish secretion with a lo t of cysticerci and protoscolex. Modes of infection, diagnosis of Taen ia crassiceps, therapeutics and zoonotic risk are considered.
