Abstract
Electrochemical and corrosion behavior of 18-carat gold-copper-silver alloys in hydrochloric acid solutions is studied. The processes procee ding on the alloys are found to differ substantially from those typica l of 24-carat gold. A supposition on the character of electrochemical processes that predetermine the corrosion behavior of these alloys is proposed.
