Abstract
The capabilities of correlation methods based on the linearization of free energy and xi(R)-constants of volatility for estimation of the va por pressure of organic volatile corrosion inhibitors (VCI) are analyz ed. Ways to optimally choose VCI and control modification of the struc tures of compounds belonging to various classes for achieving optimum volatility of inhibitors are considered.
