Ik. Kim et al., INTERACTION OF CORTICOSTERONE ANTIBODY AND GLUTARALDEHYDE ADSORBED ONPT ELECTRODES MODIFIED WITH SILANE, Analytical sciences, 12(2), 1996, pp. 327-330
The interaction of a corticosterone antibody and glutaraldehyde adsorb
ed on a Pt electrode modified with silane was examined by cyclic volta
mmetry. A mirror-polished Pt wire was oxidized for 10 min at +1.3 V vs
. Ag/AgCl in 1.0 M H2SO4. The oxidized Pt wire was coated with 3-amino
propyltrimethoxysilane under N-2 gas for 1 h at room temperature in be
nzene, and then modified with glutaraldehyde. The modified electrodes
were tested for their electrocatalytic properties and interaction with
the corticosterone antibody. The cathodic peak currents (-0.4 V) exhi
bited a reproducible linearity of the current intensify vs. the concen
tration of anticorticosterone.
