Abstract
An abattoir survey of goat kidney lesions carried out al Abwaz (Iran) during 1992-93 was reported. Or 2413 goats 97 (4.02%) had gross lesion s in their kidney. Interstitial nephritis (81.44%) was the most common lesion. Cortical siderosis and cloisonne kidney were found in 4 goats with lesions of interstitial nephritis. Other lesions observed were: Acute tubular necrosis (3.09), acute suppurative nephritis (1.03%), an d congestion and haemorrhages (14.43%).
