The solid-liquid equilibria in the BiO1.5-SrO-CaO-CuO system were inve
stigated using a soaking procedure accompanied by subsequent chemical
and x-ray analysis. The obtained results completed by literature data
were employed in the construction of the phase diagrams for the sectio
ns of BiO1.5-(2 SrO+CaO)/3-CuO, BiO1.5-(3 SrO+2 CaO)/5-CuO and Bi-1.5-
(SrO+CaO)/2-CuO at 860 degrees C. Further, the evolution of the CuO+L-
L liquidus curves in the temperature range of 820-880 degrees C was pr
oposed.
