Abstract
The electrochemical and corrosion behavior of 14 carat gold jewelry al loys is studied. Substantial differences were found in the behavior of these alloys as compared to the pure gold and gold alloys of higher s tandards. It is shown that these differences correlate with the relati ve content of alloy components.
