Abstract
We have successfully achieved high-T-c superconducting Josephson junct ions using bi-crystal YBa2Cu3O7-delta (YBCO)/Ag films for the first ti me. Utilizing a chemical vapour deposition (CVD) method, the YBCO/Ag f ilms were formed onto SrTiO3 bi-crystal substrates. The addition of th e Ag changed electric properties of the grain boundaries in the YBCO s uperconductor and the fabricated junctions showed reproducible Josephs on behaviour. The response to applied magnetic field exhibited transis tor characteristics based on Josephson flux-(vortex-) flow phenomena.
