Abstract
The chemical composition of water and bottom sediments of four ponds w ithout outflow, situated in St. Petersburg, has been quantitatively an alyzed. A thermodynamic algorithm has been developed for calculating t he detailed composition of the water and inorganic constituent of the bottom sediments taking into account possible acid-base and redox equi libria.
