Abstract
The hydrolysis of commercial samples of polyacrylamide at 20-70 degree s C in dilute aqueous solutions under the action of sodium hydroxide a nd alkali wastes of galvanic industry (wastes containing solid alkali and liquid wastes of etching and degreasing processes) was studied.
