Abstract
A selective synthesis of the ethylenedithiotetrathiafulvalene (EDT-TTF ), involving a Wittig-Horner reaction is described and extended to rel ated unsymmetrically substituted tetrathiafulvalenes, whose electroche mical properties are reported.
